Lenten Mission Overview

You are invited to join the Centered on Christ Catholic Community for our 2026 Lenten Mission: He Meets Us On The Way, A Lenten Mission of Healing and Hope.

Through this Lenten Mission, we will journey with Jesus on His Way of the Cross, not as distant observers who are passively watching His Passion unfold, but as active participants who are bringing our stories into His story

Each session will include dynamic speakers, Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, and prayer teams to help you encounter Jesus in a deeper way.

“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8)

Session 1: We Are Not Meant To Carry It Alone

February 24, 2026 | 6:30 PM

As we begin our Lenten Mission, we will walk with Jesus at the Fifth and Sixth Stations of the Cross, where He meets Simon of Cyrene and Veronica.

In these encounters, Jesus reveals something essential about the human heart: we were never meant to carry our crosses by ourselves. We were created for communion, for deep relationship with God and with one another.

When we allow others into our stories, we begin to see that what once kept us isolated and burdened can become a place of profound communion, healing, and encounter with God and with one another.

Come experience the healing that happens when we walk with Jesus to the Cross!

Session 2: The God Who Sees

March 3, 2026 | 6:30 PM

During the second session of our Lenten Mission we will walk with Jesus to the Fourth Station of the Cross where He stops to meet His mother.  At this stop on His Way to the Cross, Jesus pauses beneath the weight of suffering to meet His mother’s eyes.  He sees her pain, and He sees what you are going through too.

This second night of our Lenten Mission invites you to encounter the God who sees what others have missed: the hidden grief, the silent endurance, the places where you’ve felt overlooked, or unseen. You are not invisible to Jesus. You are worth His time. You are worth His gaze.

Come sit in the quiet presence of Jesus.  Enter into worship through music and Eucharistic Adoration.

For those who are ready for the next step, receive His love through the Sacrament of Reconciliation and/or Prayer Teams.

Walk with Jesus on His Way to the Cross and allow His gaze to transform your life.

Session 3: Jesus Holds Nothing Back

March 10, 2026 | 6:30 PM

During our final session of our Lenten Mission, we walk with Jesus to the Tenth and Eleventh Stations of the Cros,s where He is stripped of His garments and nailed to the cross.  It is in this place that He holds nothing back from us and He invites us into the courageous posture of open hands where we say, “Here I am, Lord, I’m holding nothing back from You.”

On this final night of the Lenten Mission, we name the real obstacles that keep us at a distance from God and we approach Him with hope.

This is the night of decision.
This is the night of surrender.
This is the night that we ask boldly for His healing and protection.

Come sit in the quiet presence of the God who holds nothing back from You.  Enter into worship through music and Eucharistic Adoration.

Come open and ready to receive whatever healing Jesus wants for you. He is waiting with arms open wide!
